Stergios E. Douvetzemis

MD, PhD, FRCS, FEBS

Dr. Stergios E. Douvetzemis was admitted with entrance exams to the Medical School of Athens, with the first attempt, from where he graduated in 2007 with a grade of Very Good.
He specialized in General Surgery at the 4th Surgery Clinic of G.N.A. "Evangelismos" (2011-2016) and in 2016 obtained the title of General Surgeon, after his successful participation, with the first attempt, in written and oral examinations. Then he went to London, where he specialized in Breast Oncoplasty and Reconstructive Surgery.

From 2016 to 2018 he worked as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery, at Guy’s and St Thomas ’NHS Foundation Trust in London, where he promoted to Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon and Clinical Governance Lead at the same Hospital. At the same time, from 2018 to 2019, he was Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon at University Hospital Lewisham in London.
